Yes, I was infatuated with you: I am still. No one has ever heightened such a keen capacity of physical sensation in me. I cut you out because I couldn’t stand being a passing fancy. Before I give my body, I must give my thoughts, my mind, my dreams. And you weren’t having any of those.

By Rosa Verloop, manipulating stockings using nothing but drawing pins selectively placed to form this incredible life-like face, the textures and anthropomorphic qualities it has boggle the mind.

Mary Burton Durell creates worlds. Genuinely. She uses sheets of translucent paper to create tiny compartments, individual cells that she molds into these vast growths of bulbuous coral – organic structures that seem simple, poetic even despite their complexity. (by )

Gigantic Paper Trees Burst Through Ceiling

Using just paper and wood, Wade Kavanaugh and Stephen B. Nguyen created massive paper tree sculptures that appeared to be growing from floor to floor! Called White Stag, it consisted of thick white paper that was twisted, crumpled and draped until it resembled tree bark and roots. By showing the work on two floors, the artists gave the illusion that the trees were outgrowing their space, bursting through the ceiling and floor.

I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them that no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and you saw them crying in their bed at night or singing to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street and even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think after seeing them at their most vulnerable you wouldn’t be able to help falling in love with them.
